TECHNICAL STEPS
-
STEP 1
Create a parting following the haircut and natural fall of the hair.
-
STEP 2
Begin by creating a triangular section, starting from high recession, finishing at the point of the top crown. Continue by creating a star shaped section incorporating the crown area.
-
STEP 3
Next, create an irregular semi-circle section incorporating the radial and perimeter area, finishing at the nape behind the ear. Repeat the same on the opposite side.
-
STEP 4
Secure all sections using TIGI PRO sectioning clips, including the remaining hair at the centre nape. This creates a total of five sections. Put on protective gloves.
-
STEP 5
Take a horizontal slice at the nape, apply Formula 1 from the new growth area to the ends. Isolate using a TIGI copyright©olour meche strip. Take the second slice and apply Formula 1 to the new growth area, blending Formula 2 to the mid-length and ends.
-
STEP 6
Continue the application in a 1:3 ratio until the section is complete, 1 slice using Formula 1 on the mid-lengths and ends, to 3 slices using Formula 2 through the midlengths and ends. Isolate each slice using TIGI copyright©olour meche strips.
-
STEP 7
Progressing into the perimeter area, continue working with the same application and blending technique. Within the final slices towards the hairline apply Formula 2 from the new growth area through to the mid length and ends. Repeat the same technique on the opposite side.
-
STEP 8
Subdivide the star shaped section into 2 for ease of application. Apply Formula 1 to the new growth area and Formula 3 to the mid-lengths and ends. Continue until the section is complete and repeat on the opposite side.
-
STEP 9
Progressing into the triangular section, take 1 inch slices and apply Formula 1 to the new growth area, and then with the blending technique apply Formula 2 through the mid-lengths and ends.
-
STEP 10
Process visually for up to 20 minutes then emulsify, and rinse and remove using Bed Head by TIGI Urban Antidotes Recovery shampoo and conditioner.
