TECHNICAL STEPS
-
STEP 1
Create a side parting following the haircut and natural fall of the hair.
-
STEP 2
Take a radial parting from ear to ear, followed by a profile parting from the crown to the nape. This creates 2 sections. Take a irregular square section from the crown, sitting 4 inches back from the hairline. Secure all sections with TIGI PRO sectioning clips.
-
STEP 3
Take a square section through the fringe area. From the radial, create a crescent shape, starting 2 inches above the ear, to high recession. Above the crescent shape, the remaining hair creates an irregular rectangle section. Secure and repeat on the opposite side.
-
STEP 4
Put on protective gloves. Begin the application at the nape, using diagonal slices apply Formula 1 from the new growth through to the mid-lengths and ends. Continue until the section is complete. Isolate with TIGI copyright©olour meche strips.
-
STEP 5
From the radial, progress into the crescent section. Take horizontal slices applying Formula 1 from the new growth to the mid-lengths and ends. Continue until complete. Isolate with TIGI copyright©olour meche strips and repeat on the opposite side.
-
STEP 6
Working into the irregular rectangle section, apply Formula 2 from the new growth through to the mid-lengths and ends until the section is complete. Repeat the same on the opposite side.
-
STEP 7
Progressing into the fringe, take horizontal slices and apply Formula 1 from the new growth through to the mid-lengths and ends, until the section is complete.
-
STEP 8
Continuing into the final irregular square section, take horizontal slices and apply Formula 2 from the new growth through to the mid-lengths and ends. Once the section is complete isolate with TIGI copyright©olour meche strips.
-
STEP 9
Once the application is complete, process for 35 minutes; then emulsify, rinse and remove, using Bed Head by TIGI Urban Antidotes Recovery shampoo and conditioner.
